Martin County Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition (MCSAP) is hosting a free showing of Screenagers Under The Influence: Addressing Vaping, Drugs, and Alcohol in the Digital Age at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 28 in the Fairmont High School Performing Arts Center. The 50-minute film will be followed by a Q&A session with an expert panel. The film shows how technology has reshaped adolescence teens’ current reality of being flooded by images on social media, movies, and TV shows about vaping, drugs, and alcohol. It also debunks myths and offers strategies for how the community can encourage healthy decisionmaking and support teen mental health. Plan to attend and bring a friend!
